01. THEN AT LAST (PSALM 32)

Blest is the soul that’s free from deceit—

No need to hide what he says from what he means.

Blest is the heart forgiven by love,

Whose every fault our good Lord covers up.

Long I disguised and buried my shame;

Ran through the night and I groaned through the day.

Shelter I sought and thought I was safe,

Oh silent soul, how you wasted away!

Then at last I told all my sins,

And with shouts of joy, loving arms took me in

To my one true hiding place:

In the love of God and the family of grace!

So listen up, if you truly want to live:

Do not hide alone in the dark like this one fool did.

Be not like the mule as he fights against the reins.

Come let your broken heart be bound by grace!

03. I'LL NOT BE SHAKEN (PSALM 62)

For God alone, I wait in silence;

My soul is still before the Lord

He is my rock and my salvation,

My fortress strong; I trust in Him.

I’ll not be shaken! I’ll not be shaken,

For all my hope is in His love.

From God alone comes my salvation;

I wait and trust His steadfast love!

Put not your hope in gain of riches;

Seek not your rest in empty wealth.

The rich are weak; the poor are mighty,

Who turn to God alone for help.

Pour out your heart to God our refuge

And trust in Him to hear you cry.

No other hope will never fail you;

No other love will not run dry.

05. We Will Say In That Day (Isaiah 12)

You will see there a highway from God’s own hand

That will lead back the lost to the Promised Land;

And the voice of the Savior will call us friends,

Saying, “Join in the song of the Lord!”

We will call back our armies: “Return from war!”

And we’ll make into plowshares our useless swords,

Very soon to for-get what they once were for,

When we join in the song of the Lord!

We will say in that day, “To the Lord, give thanks!”

We will not be afraid, for He comes to save.

We will shout; we will call every tribe and race,

“Come and join in the song of the Lord!”

You will see there a banquet for sinners spread,

Where we’ll sit with the Lord at the table’s head;

And our Shepherd himself is our wine and bread.

And we’ll join in the song of the Lord!

When the remnant return to the promised land;

When the highway of God brings us home to Him;

We’ll be welcomed with love by our Savior friend;

And we’ll join in the song of the Lord!

07. We Long To See You (Psalm 24)

Almighty God, we long to see you;

Open our hearts and make them pure.

Spirit, we wash our hands in mercy;

Come teach our souls to love your truth.

09. Eternal weight of Glory

Of our suff’ring seem so long;

And the toilsome wait and wond’ring

Threaten silence to our song.

Now our pain is real and pressing

Where our faith is thin and weak,

But our hope is set on Jesus;

And we cling to him, our strength.

Oh eternal weight of glory!

Oh inheritance divine!

We will see our Lord redeeming

Every past and future time.

All our pains will be transfigured,

Like the scars of Christ our Lord.

We will see the weight of glory,

And our broken years restored.

For behold! I tell a myst’ry:

At the trumpet sound we’ll wake

“Death is swallowed up in vict’ry!”

When we meet our King of Grace

Every year we thought was wasted

Every night we cried “How long?”

All will be a passing moment

In our Savior’s vict’ry song

We will see our wounded Savior.

We’ll behold him face to face;

And we’ll hear our anguished stories

Sung as vict’ry songs of grace.

02. Oh Give Thanks (Psalm 107)

We were wand’ring in the desert with our souls so starved and weak.

We were hungry for a homeland we did not know how to seek.

But we lifted up our voices to the only One who hears;

And the God of mercy came and brought us near.

We were locked out of the garden, and our backs bent down with pain.

In the shadow of death's darkness, we were slaves to sin and blame.

Then we cried out in our labor to the only One who hears,

And the God of mercy wiped away our tears.

Oh give thanks to the LORD for His love endures forever!

We were wandering and lost, and our Father brought us home,

To a safe dwelling place, to a feast of joy and laughter.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!

We were fools in our rebellion, with our hunger strike of pride.

We were sick and growing closer to the death we should have died.

Then he heard of our condition, and he called us by our names;

And the God of glory took away our shame.

We were far out on the ocean, making wealth and chasing dreams,

But the waves of great destruction brought us tremb’ling to our knees.

Then we cried like drunken sailors to the only One who hears,

And the God of comfort took away our fears.

04. The Hope of the Poor (Psalm 9)

The Lord is a home for all the oppressed

In times of trouble and need.

To all who will come and trust in His name,

A refuge and strength He will be.

The needy will not be forsaken,

and the hope of the poor will not die;

For God who is mighty in judgment

Does not forget their cry!

Arise, O my Lord and answer my call;

My heart cries out to be heard!

I’ve no other hope than your gracious love;

I trust and cling to your word.

Bridge: The Lord has heard our cry!

The Lord has heard our cry!

The Lord has not forsaken us;

The Lord has heard our cry!

So sing out to God who sits on the throne,

Proclaim his marvelous ways!

Our rescue has come! For all he has done,

We offer our lives in praise!

End: The Lord has heard our cry!

The Lord has heard our cry!

06. Rejoice In All Your Works (Psalm 104)

Every mouth that cries for food,

Every lung that yearns for breath,

Every eye that searches through the dark for light—

All creation looks to you

For its breath and for its food.

From the goodness of your hand we’re satisfied.

Oh rejoice in all your works,

King of Heaven, King of Earth!

Every creature you have made declares your praise.

We rejoice in all you’ve made,

God of all-sustaining grace!

With the mountain, sky, and sea, we sing your praise!

Every tree that thirsts for rain,

Every bird that seeks its nest,

Every heart that waits in hope to be made glad—

All creation looks to you

For its breath and for its food.

From the goodness of your hand we’re satisfied

May the pond’rings of my heart,

And the song upon my lips,

With the chorus of creation join in praise:

To the God who made all things,

To the Spirit who sustains,

To the Son who over all creation reigns!

08. Wake Up O Daughter of Zion

Wake up, O daughter of Zion!

Leave here your clothing of shame.

No more the orphan or harlot,

See, I give you a new name!

Take up these garments of splendor;

Beautiful daughter, rise up!

Feel my great mercy surround you;

Dress in the gown of my love.

“Beautiful bride,” He has called you.

“Sought after, married, redeemed.”

“You’ll be the crown of my glory,

You, my most highly esteemed.”

Glorious there in her chamber,

Wearing the robe of the king.

See him delight in her beauty;

With joy and gladness he sings:

10. In You, O Lord, I Am Found (Psalm 139)

O Lord, you know me and search me out:

My habits and thoughts, my secret doubts,

My dreams at night, the words of my mouth.

In you, O Lord, I am found;

Oh, in you, O Lord, I am found.

I know not all my own heart and mind,

My wandering soul, my sleepless eyes;

I long for you but from you I hide.

In you, O Lord, I am found;

Oh, in you, O Lord, I am found.

Though darkness covers my hope and sight

And night overtakes my troubled mind

In darkness you, my Daylight will shine

In you, O Lord, I am found;

Oh, in you, O Lord, I am found.

Before my birth, you composed my frame.

You gazed in my eyes and knew my name;

You wrote with love each one of my days.

In you, O Lord, I am found;

Oh, in you, O Lord, I am found.

Where can I run from your love so deep,

So boundless and strong, so rich, so free?

No height, nor depth can separate me:

In you, O Lord, I am found;

Oh, in you, O Lord, I am found.
